Rebellion

this poster was on an uphill road in a "strandee" of many other posters that were back to back at eye level right outside the train station in Lausanne. Because of the black and white photo collage it falls into the Photomontage category. It follows a grid system with a san-serif type The focal point of the poster is the man using a megaphone to shout something out. the bottom image is a bunch of rioters with picket signs. separating the two images is a solid crimson triangle where the type is overlayed. the concept is to show an event in swiss history to promote people to visit the Lausanne historic Museum. The strong color and photo draws the viewer in from far. Even from 55 feet away the type is readable. from 5 feet off the bottom photo is readable which helps the poster make sense/ fro 5 inched you notice the logo in the upper left which also helps the purpose of the poster. The way the collage is put together makes sense and is successful in getting across to the viewer the info it needs to.
