I found this poster after the Oberhoffen castle on the walk to the art gallery in Thun. It was on a poster standee with three or four other double sided standees next to it. I was attracted to this because of the combination of many different styles. I would say the one that influenced it the most would be post modern. The first thing that made me think this is the layering and the use of colors, and the fact that it breaks so many rules compared to other posters i have seen. But i think the grid system that is present gives it an international feel as well. The last think i noticed was that the cow is not a photograph but rather looks like it is painted, which was influenced by the swiss travel posters. Not only did this poster catch my eye from far away but up close it was one that (if i could read what it said) i would want to know what it was all about, Which is the purpose of designing a poster in the first place, so in that sense the artist was very sucessful. -Sarah Webb
